ReplyDeleteSo...here's my summer romance. It was summer at a lake in northern Idaho. I was 14. A teen party with dancing on the deck. I met a popular guy named John. We danced under the stars, and then came his kiss, my first kiss. It was soft and warm, and as gentle as a rose petal. We said goodbye, but none of the promised letters arrived. I only had the lingering memory of that first kiss. I must have floated on air all the next year.
